eDox, the app that simplifies your life !

How could technology show us the essential documents at a glance, so we can efficiently and quickly provide the necessary information in any situation?

This is the question the creator of eDox decided to answer. She noticed that people tended to accumulate piles of important documents that often got lost, misplaced or even forgotten.

The problematic found its place in a much bigger space within the digital world as right now we are doing the filtering and finding ourselves; why not let our devices do it for us? eDox won the challenge with a very simple and intuitive design that will provoke a real revolution.

eDox is helping to change habits. It is simple : you collect, you store and you use documents safely whenever and wherever you want. Users will never be scared of being a bit messy, losing their documents or managing some for different people. Not only users can secure (digital print and pin), share (online and offline), but also import and export files as they wish. There are the possibilities of reminders, electronic signatures and document retrievals without carrying them all ! It has never been easier to convert real life paper documents into electronic PDF, and this; only through your camera!

All the people observed on the field had issues sorting out their documents on both professional and personal levels. This could have been for many reasons from the amount of documents to collect from different people, the lack of time, the recent loss of important papers or not being able to provide documents on the spot in certain occasions; something needed to be designed.

eDox had to help in order to collect, classify & share any type of administrative documentation. The app creator still remembers when she thought Pinterest was the best example of this. That was the idea, something very intuitive and simple such as collecting and sharing images. The real challenge happened when the necessity of converting paper files into digital ones appeared.

I was thinking, I need to set up something that allows electronic conversion and provides record of documentation. I was comparing the experience to the phone camera everyone has nowadays. You know when you are looking at a nice sunset and you are taking a picture of it because you want to keep the souvenir of it in your pocket and you also want to be able to live this moment again while looking at it on your screen. eDox had to be able to do this ! eDox technology has been developed to convert paper documents into PDF just by taking a simple picture ! It is pretty amazing !

The app is also very reliable and secure: digital signature and password options have been set. Security is one of eDox’s keys. The users should be able to import and export bank data, bills and official documents without a worry.

But whom is it for then ?

eDox is for people that tend to be a bit messy or not very organised (as you call it). If you just recently lost or got some important documents stolen, the app could be your best new initiative. A lot of procedures are now done online and require electronic attachments, eDox would be the best solution for it. In just a few clicks you retrieve and share with no hassle.

During my research I observed a mother of two struggling with her kids’ documents. She was in the middle of a recent divorce and she just could not handle it anymore. Stuff were everywhere between her ex’ house and hers; it became impossible to look after all those documents.

When the creator of eDox introduced her the idea of an app where she could share with her ex husband all the paper work they would need in order to take care of their divorce and also of the kids, she thought it would be a great innovation to make.

I remember myself questioning someone into AirBnB businesses, that person said that it was often a nightmare to keep track or record of the evolution of a situation. For example, following bills monthly to prove an error or control consumption. Something as stupid as retrieving an oven warranty could become your worst nightmare !

eDox is for hardcore travellers too; because it is never has been as easy to carry hundreds of documents and some could be asked in special occasions (in case of emergency for example).
