Having watched the degradation of America since my teenage years, I have noticed what seems to be a sad truth, Americans are some of the laziest people, politically, on earth. Those who do attend rallies might go to one or two, three if pie is served, and then go back home to sit on the sofa drinking beer and watching football.

Of the sixties protest kings and queens, only a few still carry one. Most turned into yuppies, then came the slackers followed by hipsters. Rather than being trend setters the majority are trend followers. With any luck the social democratic mindset might continue long enough to force a change, maybe but only if we can keep it trendy.
