Harry, Thank you for writing this post. I feel like the pendulum has swung to the far left and the far right and at both extremes there is a tendency toward political shaming if one does not think the same way. I applaud your father of expressing his political right and showing due diligence in seeking out candidates to understand their position. The same people that preach about tolerance often are the least. This week, I read a message to my Mom, a Trump supporter, from my sister that said I can’t believe you consider yourself to be a Christian… You can see how even in families this is like an unCivil war. Kudos to your Dad.
