MY BODY

I really love this, Gloria. You’ve brought together so many feelings in these short, powerful lines. It reminds me of Poetry for the People, a class I took in college at Berkeley, where our instructors emphasized that writing should be urgent. I also wrote for that class about the many poems we’d read in that class comparing the female body to landscapes, especially contested ones. Thank you for sharing. Choice matters. Our stories matter.
