Is there a cranial capacity component? If there’s too much brain matter devoted to intelligence, wouldn’t that crowd out the physical space needed for the parts of the brain harnessing the emotional, therefore impairing social relations? I would think that how proficient one is at understanding and acting on social cues has a lot to do with one’s overall intelligence. There must be a point whereby the practicality of high intelligence is countered by the impracticality of too much intelligence. (#triarchic intelligence)
