GDE summit 2019 🚀 🤓 🎉
Last weekend of October, the Google Developer Experts program met most of its tech experts from all around the globe into one place: Silicon Valley to strength the community, share best practices, highlight individual/group projects and have a great time together getting to know more each other!

There were two days of full activities!
Saturday:
The opening keynote was in charge of the astronaut 👨‍🚀 Garrett Reisman. Full of energy and with a great motivational story inspired us to go for the impossible, do not be afraid to fail and be determined to reach a goal! 🚀
During the rest of the day, we had different talks and workshops for the different tech categories that the GDE program has! In my case, as GDE in Machine Learning (ML), it was delightful to hang out with other ML GDEs and Googlers that work on TensorFlow 🤓

Also that afternoon, I attended to the Technical Writing course! I love the idea to share our tech expertise with all audiences!
That Saturday night we had the party at the Tech Interactive Museum in San Jose, California. So much fun, nice chatting and dancing!

Sunday:
We started the morning with the “light talks” from 5 GDEs. I was thankful with the opportunity to be part of these talks! I was nervous and excited at the same time because of talking in front of such amazing and smart people. My presentation was about a local project we are running in Bolivia to teach more girls about technology, mainly Artificial Intelligence! Thanks GDE Summit 2019 organizer for this amazing chance.

The rest of the day we had different sessions to learn more about new technology and releases coming up! My ML GDE team took this opportunity to talk and organize ourselves better. We are a global community and it is not too easy to meet all or follow up different great projects everyone is developing, so what a good chance to keep connecting!
I am really thankful with Google and our global community for this amazing opportunity to be part of such awesome professionals network!
My takes aways:
- Do not be afraid to fail when you are doing something you love
- Keep sharing! We (GDEs) are leaders in our local communities and we can impact everyone’s life with technology.
- Do not be afraid to ask! people from our community are there to help us!
- Keep learning! We (GDEs) are exposed to lots of materials and releases (even before they are public!) so it is an amazing chance to keep learning and discovering.
- It does not matter where you are from! what matter is your passion for learning and sharing!
My special thanks
