“How to avoid a heart attack…”
…or a stroke, or memory loss, or impotence, or wrinkling.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6… KA-BAM!
Another American just had a heart attack—or a stroke. It happens every six seconds.
Heart attack, stroke, impotence, memory loss, and wrinkling. They’re all caused by the same thing: atherosclerosis.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6… KA-BAM!
atherosclerosis (noun)
- (pathology) The clogging or hardening of arteries or blood vessels caused by plaques (accumulations of fatty deposits, usually cholesterol).
It’s caused by excessive accumulations of LDL cholesterol, which forms plaque inside your artery walls and blood vessels. It’s then exacerbated by chronic inflammation, and then acute inflammation.
Then… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6… KA-BAM!
You’re yet another victim of a heart attack or stroke. If and when it happens, you’ve got 50%-50% odds that you live to know about it. Half die without ever even knowing they were at risk.
If you want to avoid a heart attack, you need to figure out a way to avoid it.
“How ?” you ask?
Published research has shown people with low hs-CRP (“Inflammation”) and Low LDL (“Bad Cholesterol”) have the best chances for cardiovascular “event-free” survival.

This graph is from Dr. Paul Ridker, a researcher at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, who spearheaded the Jupiter Study, where they were looking for justification of the use of statins in prevention of heart disease. What the study showed was over time, people with low CRP and low LDL cholesterol had the greatest likelihood of “event-free” survival.
“Event-free” means “no heart attack.” This is the holy grail.
Smaller studies had hinted at the link , but Ridker’s research, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, showed that when people with normal cholesterol and high levels of CRP — a protein marker for inflammation in the blood — reduced their CRP levels , their risk of heart attack plummeted by more than half.
Cholesterol and fatty plaques are indicators of heart disease, but this shows that inflammation may be just as important, playing a key role as the trigger. Chronic inflammation increases the instability of plaques, making them more likely to rupture, block heart vessels, and cause a heart attack (or stroke, memory loss, impotence, or wrinkling).

Now look at this graph. This is from a study that was just published in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology.
In a recent double-blind placebo controlled study, a daily intake of 210 mg of Purified Omega 7 was better than placebo at managing cholesterol, triglycerides, and healthy c-reactive protein levels.
The study is entitled “Purified palmitoleic acid for the reduction of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and serum lipids: A double-blinded, randomized, placebo controlled study”, The Journal of Clinical Lipidology, August 2014; Adam M. Bernstein, MD, ScD; Michael F. Roizen, MD; Luis Martinez, MD, MPH; [http://www.lipidjournal.com/article/S1933-2874(14)00281-5/abstract]
Omega 7 Fatty Acids were found to have potent anti-inflammatory and lipid-modulating effects with significant C-reactive protein (CRP) reductions of 44% after one month of treatment with a single daily dose of 210 mg.
If you read the study, you’ll discover that half of that 44% reduction occured in the first week!
Trial Highlights (210mg/day of omega-7 for 30 days)
- Average reduction in CRP by 44%
- Average reduction of Triglycerides of 18%
- Average reduction of LDL cholesterol of 8%
- Average increase of HDL cholesterol of 5%
Good news for people who are worried about heart disease! Eh?
Have you ever heard the sound of a heartbeat?
BA-BOOM, BA-BOOM, BA-BOOM…
Some people say it sounds like “ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom” others say it sounds like “boom-boom, boom-boom, boom-boom”…. however you hear it, it’s a beautiful sound.
If you’re interested in learning more, or trying it yourself, you can actually get the omega-7 supplement that was used in the study here:
