Nigerian-American Kedu Skin Care (LLC) creator Laura Enem is walking in her purpose because she turned an idea into a dream come true.

Flashback to 2017 when Laura was unfulfilled working for corporate America. She needed to get out so she started brainstorming looking for something she cared about. Three years later as a substitute teacher, the world was hit by the pandemic, and Laura had to look for employment elsewhere. Down but not out, she pivoted finding comfort in creating a skin care line that she now calls, Kedu Skin Care. “Kedu” comes from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria and it means, “Hello.”

Laura finally found her purpose, but she wasn’t out of the woods yet. How was she going to turn her idea into a profitable business — by staying the course. Shortly thereafter, God blessed her with four grants (all within the same year) and now she is pushing forward with Kedu Skin Care. When asked how she pulled it off, she simply says: “I (God) will meet you where you are.” Laura believes that God will guide you if you just take the first step.

I made the first step by trying the Kedu Triple Blend Body Butter and I love it! It’s not very greasy and it doesn’t have a strong scent. I encourage you all to try it. Laura also has products for the hair and lips. Self-care is the best care. Please support Laura and her dream by visiting: Keduskincare.com. Let’s continue to put independent startup businesses on the map because “when one rises, then we all rise,” admits Laura. Teamwork makes the dream work!
