She has a body of film works that speaks for itself. Zoe Saldana has been acting in the entertainment industry since as early as 1999, and from the looks of things, she’s not stopping any time soon. Have you seen Special Ops: Lioness on Paramount Plus yet?

Here are my top five favorite film performances from Zoe Saldana.

When the wondrous world of Marvel released the Avengers Infinity Saga films we experienced some of the most epic on-screen moments in cinematic history. Zoe Saldana as the beautiful, elite deadly assassin, Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War jolted us into feels we thought we’d never expect in 2018. Alongside her team of misfit companions, Gamora, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers fight the final battle against their most formidable enemy yet to save the the universe, and all mankind on planet earth!

The Losers is a great movie; a hidden gem. Funny enough, it’s about another wily band of misfits, only this time they’re all badass CIA Special Forces operatives, living on the lam. Based on The Losers comic book series, Zoe’s character Aisha brings female energy to the team in addition to her vicious firearm skills, stealth spy-like capabilities, and hand-to-hand combat!

Familiar faces Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan join Zoe in this action-packed film, and like her comrades, she is fully capable, and holds her own.

Leave it to Zoe Saldana to perfectly embody Neytiri, Princess of the Omatikaya Clan, and lead heroine in the massive box office hit, and highest grossing film of all time, Avatar. You see, far, far away from earth, in Director James Cameron’s fictional utopian universe is the lush, vibrant moon, Pandora, habitat to the Na’vi. Zoe’s performance as the fierce Na’vi warrior solidified her position as comic book queen extraordinaire, and put her on the map to Marvel in Hollywood. But, those of use who’ve seen number one on today’s Top Five In Film have known Zoe’s greatness all along.

It’s her best rom-com movie, to date. Guess Who, starring Bernie Mac (Deceased), Zoe Saldana, Judith Scott, and Ashton Kutcher is a fun family movie to watch by yourself, with friends, or with loved ones. Bernie Mac and Ashton bring all the funny. Zoe Saldana and Judith Scott represent with elegance and poise-and even they give us laughs with their banter and girl talk. As it’s clearly number two on this Top Five list, Guess Who is one of my favorite Zoe Saldana movies ever. Rest in peace to the Late Great Bernie Mac.

And here we arrive at Zoe Saldana’s number one movie on my Top Five In Film list- probably my favorite Zoe Salanda performance of all time: Center Stage.

Think young love, social drama, big dreams, competition, and ballet. If any one of these things excites you, you should watch Zoe Saldana’s performance in Center Stage, as the mouthy, rough-around-the-edges, Eva Rodriguez; a girl we’ve all known once, or tried to be. Lol

If you’re a fan of Zoe Saldana, and have never Center Stage before, here’s the link to rent & watch, write it down!
