West Palm Beach, Fl — When it comes to trauma and PTSD, countless stories of suffering and survival fill the news, Facebook feeds, Instagram reels, LinkedIn articles, and podcasts on their website, Apple and Spotify. Yet one story stands out, not just because of the personal tragedy behind it, but because of the revolutionary hope it brings.

That story belongs to Dr. Eugene Lipov, a board-certified anesthesiologist and trauma expert who is challenging the way the world understands PTSD, or, as he insists, PTSI (Post-Traumatic Stress Injury). His work introduces a treatment that some are calling nothing short of a miracle breakthrough.

Recently, he shared his journey as a guest on The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, available free on their website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and most podcast platforms. Promoted across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Medium, and other social outlets, the episode is sparking conversations around the world.

A Life Marked by Trauma

Dr. Lipov’s personal journey began in tragedy. While still in medical training, he was diving in Mexico when he was struck by a boat. The impact left him with devastating propeller injuries, and he nearly bled to death.

“I had an out-of-body experience when I was close to death,” he recalled. That moment of hovering between life and death left a permanent mark, shaping the way he would later understand trauma.

But tragedy was not finished with him. Just a year later, his mother died by suicide. “The impact of that was life-altering,” he has shared. The loss shook his family to the core and became another defining wound.

It was through these painful events, and his growing awareness of his own trauma, that Dr. Lipov began to search for new answers.

From Personal Loss to Medical Innovation

Instead of allowing trauma to dictate his life, Dr. Lipov transformed it into fuel for discovery. His most notable contribution is the pioneering use of the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB), a simple nerve block now known by many as “The God Shot.”

Unlike conventional therapies that often focus on managing symptoms, SGB aims to reset the brain’s overactive fight-or-flight response instantly.

“Advanced brain scans show trauma leaves physical scars on the brain,” Dr. Lipov explains. “If it’s a biological injury, it means it can heal.”

The treatment has already changed lives, from Navy SEALs and first responders to survivors of abuse and burnout. Patients describe the experience as a near-instant return to calm, often after years of chaos.

The Book That Could Change Everything

Dr. Lipov has captured these insights in his upcoming book, The God Shot: Healing Trauma’s Legacy, co-authored with Lauren Ungeldi and set for release on February 17, 2026.

“The era of managing trauma is over,” he writes. “The age of hope and healing has begun.”

The book dismantles the long-standing myth that PTSD is a lifelong disorder or a sign of weakness. Instead, Lipov reframes it as a treatable injury, one with a biology-based solution.

His earlier works, The Invisible Machine and Exit Strategy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, also highlight how SGB may revolutionize trauma care. By blending medical insights with deeply personal stories, his books have become essential resources for both professionals and survivors.

Beyond Medicine: A Cultural Shift

Dr. Lipov’s advocacy goes beyond hospitals and laboratories. He collaborated on It’s PTSI, a poetic musical project with award-winning artist Chase Bell. Together with Jen Satterly, CEO of the All Secure Foundation, they are reframing trauma as an injury that can heal, rather than a permanent scar.

The All Secure Foundation, co-founded by Jen and her husband, retired Special Operations warrior Tom Satterly, provides critical resources for combat veterans and their families. From retreats to workshops, the foundation helps warriors move from Post-Traumatic Stress to Post-Traumatic Growth, amplifying the very mission Dr. Lipov has devoted his life to.

Could This Be the Miracle Breakthrough?

For too long, trauma survivors have been told that PTSD is a life sentence. Dr. Lipov’s work challenges that narrative, offering hope that trauma is not a permanent condition but an injury that can heal.

His personal story, surviving near-death, losing his mother, and navigating his own trauma, drives his relentless pursuit of healing for others.

And now, with The God Shot poised to reach readers worldwide and his message amplified through The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, the conversation around PTSD may be on the verge of its most profound transformation yet.

As Dr. Lipov’s research and personal journey spread across news outlets, social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and podcasts on Apple and Spotify, the world is left asking the same question:

Could this be the miracle breakthrough for PTSD?
