The Musee Picasso is in the seaside Chateau Grimaldi in the old town of Antibes. Even if you’re not massively interested in the art, I bet you will be amazed by his masterpieces including his 44 drawings and 23 paintings. We were also amazed by its location (see above😜). It is housed in an impressively positioned castle on the rampart walls of Antibes with views looking over the port.
The museum is small and an hour’s visit is sufficient to see. Picasso’s work is displayed on the top floor. Don’t take the buggy upstairs; fold and leave it in the entrance. Transportation is an easy one: Take a bus (1.5€ each, 72 minutes valid) from Nice, after an hour you’ll be there.
