What I Told My Daughter When She Asked Why I Lost My Job: on Cheating, Mental Illness, and How Much…

You write well. It’s hard for me to square the care you have for the words you choose to say to your daughter in this piece with your demonstrated actual carelessness for her, your ex-wife and the multiple students you inappropriately bedded. It makes it hard to believe the sincerity of your writing. After all, if you lied to them, why not to your readers, too?

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
