Travel to white mountains from Boston is about three and half hours. Once you drive out of greater Boston, the drive is pretty scenic with a cover of green all along, wide and clear roads.

Try doing a quick diversion trip to Elephant head.

When you head out to Jackson, do a quick visit to elephant head. The trail is short and quick, should not take you more than 15 minutes. But it is worth the view. The elephant head resembles the head of an elephant and serves as a good point to take a good look at the cars parked by the roadside. The cars zipping pass on the road does make some echo but is still a quite place.
