There are many proofs in different parts of the world that clearly shows how advanced the architecture of the ancient world was we always wonder that how those mysterious structures were build and how they are standing rigidly even today.

Though our technology has developed tremendously but the humans present are not able to find the mysteries hidden in those structure at all their technology is unmatchable with our technology. We have spent millions of Dollars to know these mysteries and also much have been known but still many mysteries are hidden in some of those structures.

The archeological experts are excavating these structure and also something new is known from those sites, there are many sites in different parts of the world that are mysterious one of those is the great pyramids of Giza one of the most mysterious ancient structure situated in Egypt.

It is always said that those pyramids are the marvel of ancient architecture the way they are build with a correct symmetry shows that how developed was the technology in that period. The Great Pyramid Of Giza

The pyramid of Giza, also known as Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops is Largest and the oldest pyramid in the Giza pyramid Complex, presently bordering Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. Pyramid of Giza is oldest of the seven wonders of ancient world and also it is the only to remain intact largely even today.

The initial height of the pyramid was around 146.5 meters this was was the tallest ever man made structure for over the period of 3,800 years, with the course of time the top covering of smooth limestone was removed that resulted in lowering of the height of the pyramid which remained 138.5 meters what we presently see is the core structure.

The dimensions of the pyramid were like 146.7 meters high, base length of about 230.6 meters with a slope of 50 degree 51'40".

This pyramid is built by an estimated 2.3 million large blocks weighing about 6 million tonnes in total.

Hemiunu (also known as hemon) the vizir of Khufu is believed to be the architect of this pyramid.

There are three known chambers in the pyramid, the lowest had been cut into the bedrock and the so-called King’s chamber and the Queen chamber are higher up that contains the granite sarcophagus.

Historically this pyramid was attributed to Khufu based on the words of author of classical antiquity, first and foremost was Herodotus and Diodorus siculus, during the middle ages this pyramid had been attributed to several other people were credited with the pyramid’s construction.

It has been determined that the pyramid is about 4600 years old, according to two principle approach. first is the attribution of the pyramid with the attribution of Khufu and his chronological age and the second is the radiocarbon dating of the organic matters found in the pyramid.

Most of the recent chronological estimates dates Khufu and his pyramid roughly to be between 2700 and 2500 BC.
