Todoist: Still the productivity King, but I just don’t want to use it.

It’s still the most feature-rich task manager, but it’s lacking in one major area.

I don’t know about you, but I use a task management app to manage most of what I need to do. Whether it’s a work task or something in my private life, I capture my to-dos and manage them in one place.

In years gone by, I was an active Filofax user. I loved pulling that out and capturing both my thoughts and my actions, but its bulk meant it didn’t go everywhere with me, and that became a problem. It’s why I switched to an app almost ten years ago. I haven’t looked back since.

I’ve tried so many of them, Appigo’s Todo, Wunderlist, Things 3, Todoist, Apple Reminders, and even Microsoft To Do. Probably a few more I’ve forgotten about.

They all worked capably well but shared one thing in common: they lacked at least one feature that I used. That is, apart from Todoist.
