YOU HAVE TO WANT IT!
No, but like REALLY want it. Like you never wanted anything before. Then times that by 100, and you’re a little bit closer to where you need to be. Then, you are not going to succeed. For 10 years at least, maybe more, you going to experience failure after failure whilst you learn through the process. In the meantime, you’re going to have to pay bills and maintain relationships with other people. In order for you to live the life that you always dreamt of, you are going to need a laser like Focus and skin as thick as an elephant.
When I decided that I was going to forge my own path, I thought it would be easy. At 20 years old, a fresh faced Lewis, (without the Beard!) came out of a meeting with the careers advisor at University determined to change the course of my life. I thought that getting into university was the hard part.
Wrong!
In the early days, and up until very recently, it felt like I was massively swimming against the tide- that the education path was so structured, why was I venturing outside of that when it’s so difficult to make even a little progress? People told me I was crazy, I was ridiculed and belittled. But guess what? This was the best thing that could have happened, as it forced me to build up my resolve, to get my ‘elephant skin’.

I’m still nowhere near where I want to be. But in another 10 years, I would have made double the progress, triple even as my time commitments change and I can go all out in pursuit of my Legacy.
In 20 or 30 years, I am unsure how I will measure my success. But what I will be able to tell my grandchildren is, like the most famous Frank that ever lived “ I did it my way”
