Another interesting and possibly positive result is the renewal of belief in federalism. Pre-Trump, the underlying assumption of both sides was that you win the Presidency and the Congress (and, by extension, SCOTUS), then you kick ass to get everyone to do what you think they should. All of a sudden, liberals are finding that perhaps the States themselves can and should set policy. How surprising that the Founders may have had a few good ideas after all.
