My experience being a developer with no developer community

My 2 cents:
Find young and talented students in your city. Anything between 12 and 17 years. Teach them basic UNIX, basic Python, or whatever that is probably useful in the long term. Once a week. This elevates your self-esteem and even if you’re still stuck in the city in 10 years time, you’ll have a community.
