Moving to a Less Expensive City to Buy a House Isn’t Always the Best Idea

This story hardly seems like a strong arguments against the advice to move somewhere cheaper, though… that’s not what anybody means when they dispense that advice.

A stronger argument is more like: sure, I’d move somewhere cheaper if a) I can find a job that matches my career goals that pays well, b) my partner can do the same, c) both a and b happen at the same time, d) our families move with us because we love them and they also provide child care. Oh, you can hardly even promise one of those four things happening? Yeah, seems like I can’t move somewhere cheaper then.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
