YNWA, LFC Fan Token Announced
Liverpool Fan Token (YNWA token), a cryptocurrency controlled by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) of LFC fans who hold YNWA tokens, has been launched on December 1st, 2021. The token powers YNWA.network, a multimedia communication platform, social ecosystem, and metaverse of Liverpool F.C. fans that is scheduled to be launched in Q2 of 2022.
Among the project’s objectives are:
- Creation of an Internet-based live broadcasting channel, as a part of the YNWA.network where LFC fans and YNWA token owners star at the shows and programs;
- NFT marketplace on the YNWA.network;
- Assistance to LFC football academies worldwide, with a special accent to Africa, Asia, and South America.
All objectives are listed on the Fiverpool Fan Tokek White Paper. Accoding to the White Paper of the Liverpool Fan Token:
“It creates crypto-economics on YNWA.network, an exciting new virtual world, and a fellowship of Liverpool F.C fans. YNWA tokens validate economic and social interactions in a metaverse of creativity, entertainment where Liverpool FC fans: impart; exchange information; share ideas; show their creativity; talk football like professional pundits; express their views about any aspect of Liverpool Football Club’s life and beyond; express their emotions and feelings in a community of like-minded peers.”
The YNWA, Livepool Fan Token is not an official cryptocurrency of the Liverpool F.C. and is not affiliated by the club. However, the team behind the digital currency has reserved 25% of the YNWA tokens for the Liverpool F.C. The LFCFanToken team says that:
“As we are all fans of what we believe to be the world’s greatest football club, we must never forget that Liverpool Football Club should be in the center of any LFC-related social or commercial activity we conduct.”
Is YNWA Token Unique?
The LFC Fan Token team members belive that YNWA tokens will create crypto-economics on YNWA.network, which itself is described as “an exciting new virtual world, and a fellowship of Liverpool F.C fans.”
The project’ White Paper also says that “YNWA tokens validate economic and social interactions in a metaverse of creativity, entertainment where Liverpool FC fans: impart; exchange information; share ideas; show their creativity; talk football like professional pundits; express their views about any aspect of Liverpool Football Club’s life and beyond; express their emotions and feelings in a community of like-minded peers.”
The LFC Fan Token is governed by a decentralized authonomous organization (DAO). All YNWA token holders are stakeholders in a “global, self-determining decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that owns a governs YNWA.network”, states the project’s White Paper.
