In an era marked by progressive social movements and a growing global consciousness, the significance of supporting organizations dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community cannot be overstated.

As we witness strides toward equality, visibility, and acceptance, it becomes increasingly evident that fostering a world where every individual is free to embrace their authentic self is a collective responsibility.

About WeAgainst

WeAgainst is a small organization raising money for charitable LGBTQ+ causes that support persons living in countries where their lives may be in grave danger due to anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment.

The funds raised are used to cover such activities as:

Legal fees for LGBTQ+ persons living in countries where it is illegal or banned and who are being prosecuted for identifying as (or allying with) LGBTQ+
Shelter and welfare costs for LGBTQ+ persons who are forced to hide or become fugitives due to their sexual orientation.
Health, treatment and therapy costs for persons who have been violently attacked for being a LGBTQ+ person.

About the Founder

The founder, known pseudonymously as chaddess is a 22 year old gay artist (she / her).

She lives in a country in Africa where LGBTQ+ is illegal and homophobic sentiment is at dangerously high levels.

For security reasons, she is therefore forced to stay anonymous under a pseudonym.

She works with a team of 3 other LGBTQ+ persons and together we founded WeAgainst to discreetly raise funds to help LGBTQ+ persons being persecuted and facing grave danger.

Though the work is very dangerous and frequently exposes them to life-threatening risks, they are determined to not give up because many victims face existential threats and are in dire need of support and succour.

Their biggest constraint, though, is funding therefore they really need your urgent help, nothing too small or too large (they are unable to offer tax-deductibility for now)

Because they live in Africa, their focus is mainly on African countries at this time but as they grow, they plan to spread our activities to support LGBTQ+ persons the world over.
