suzie, i just made an account to reply to you. although i was born in 1975, my parents were liberals around your age and i grew up hearing about the kennedys and mlk, about nixon and LBJ and civil rights. i was protesting the first gulf war in 1991 at age 15, and have devoted much of my life to political activism. these millennial brats (not all millenials! but the bernie fanatics) who now tell me that *i* am blind and *i* just don’t understand how politics should work, that i am a shill for corporate america for supporting clinton, get on my last nerve. maybe one day, maybe in 20 years, they will look back and realize how narrow their focus was.

also, for superstition's sake, pls don’t compare hillary to bobby! CA primary is coming up and… just… knock wood, that’s all i’m saying! i was not alive yet when he was assassinated but as a student of history, plus drawing from everything my parents told me, i can’t imagine how different the world could have been if he had made it…
