Update 30/12/2022: When I wrote this post I was having a fantastic experience in OLX Group, learning a lot, my manager and stakeholders were very happy with my work. However, at the end of my probation period I was dismissed and now I am unemployed. The good news is I already have 6 interviews ☺ Show must go on!!!

This is the most personal article I’ve written so far because I’m going to talk about my professional experience and how I got to my current/stable/good job by overcoming challenging obstacles.

This is not a self-promotional article, but rather a simple text to inspire and motivate anyone who can relate to my story.

Hard work, focus, and patience are required to achieve higher goals.

I will talk about my experience from 2007 when I finished my master’s degree in environmental engineering until 2022 when I reach the position of data engineer at the OLX Group (one of the best companies to work in Portugal).
