Police Brutality has been a devastating circumstance for the black community and it’s people. To see a black man murdered in cold blood by a police officer on video is a horrible sight. There has been numerous incidents of police being violent to the black community. Exactly how bad this situation was; did not get to people as much until the shooting of Alton Sterling was viewed on social media. To see a man murdered in cold blood stirs up emotions from anyone rather you be black or white. The video of Alton Sterling’s shooting touched a lot of people and surfaced the country quickly; Soon after this video was uploaded to social media, tons of rallies and protests broke out. There was marches all over the country. During one march in Texas, some police officers were even shot, one police officer was even killed at that event.

There is only one way to stop these horrible living conditions, and killing a police officer is not one of them. The black community as a whole has to first look at self, and figure out what they can do to help these situations get better. Then it takes some one with courage to go out and spread these ideas among their culture , and actually help there people to get on the same track. Then a plan of action can take place, because everyone is on the same boat. Sticking together and staying structured is the only way to defeat this. I believe a plan of action need to take place because Tamir Rice, Alton Sterling, Michael Brown and all the others should not have to die in vain. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks and the rest fought for our rights to make a change, and that should not be in vain neither. If change is to be brought about you have to work for it, there are innocent lives and children at stake, so this has to be done accordingly.
