I am a resident near Flint. I believe in making sure all sides are told for people to make an accurate decisions for themselves. The biggest misconception is its the the current governor is completely responsible, but that is only putting the blame on one person. The real fault stems all the way back to the 1990’s If the media and stars did a little digging they would see articles mentioning the water situation from 1996. This didn’t happen overnight people. I personally joined a group if volunteers and handed out out water and supplies to the community. I was disheartened to find out that we had to black out the bar codes because some people were taking the supplies back to the stores to get the money in return. The Republican governor isn’t one responsible for everything bad. Because of the generous donations he now wants to reallocate funds to focus on children’s healthcare needs. I bet the papers forgot to mention that, but scandle and half truths are what sell I guess.
