The zero-waste movement has changed the way people think about clothing, water and even straws. Given its slow but persistent creep into US pop-culture — the idea has been around since 1995 — it was only a matter of time before it came to a floor near you. And it’ll arrive none-too-soon as rugs and carpets take up the most space in US landfills other than disposable diapers.
