I can’t say as I disagree with your overall premises. I have observed the same since I too was a young man — and now I’m not. However you did say one humble thing that I can help with; because just because you have not heard of it does not mean it has not been there all along. Good news — it has and a century ago at that! You said “I have not seen a single article or essay by a noted economist explaining that sequence of ruin to the American people — who therefore remain unfortunately ignorant of it — not once, ever. Have you?” You have not heard of either the National Economy proposals of Nobel Lauriat Professor Frederick Soddy, nor the Social Credit proposals of Clifford Hugh Douglas. Many in the 20s and 30s read their books, and heard their addresses in legislatures in America, Britain, Australia ans Canada; but unfortunately our media and education systems have been tightly controlled and what thousands know today remains unknown to billions who need to see a clear path to a better way. Do yourself a favor; look these guys up, learn the lessons of history they taught but have apparently been since forgotten. Then start writing about the obvious solutions they taught. Let me share with you a doosie. In our world, it is obvious that nobody gets the wages of the machines so obviously, we need a guaranteed income for all. But how are we going to pay for it without borrowing more debt on the public purse and kicking the can down the road? Douglas has the PERFECT solution. It is basically the same solution Franklin boasted to the British House of Commons, the same solution Lincoln was talking about when he stated the year he was murdered that government’s greatest opportunity to be of service to its citizens it to ensure there is enough money in circulation to ensure the purchase of its goods. It is the same answer that led Churchill to ask why there is poverty in the land of plenty and a curse of overproduction that cannot be reconciled. It is the reason Kennedy issued executive order 11110 which he issued on June 4, 1963 “ to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury not then held for redemption of any outstanding silver certificates, to prescribe the denominations of such silver certificates, and to coin standard silver dollars and subsidiary silver currency for their redemption,” and (b) By revoking subparagraphs (b) and © of paragraph 2 thereof.” Lyndon Johnson’s first executive act was to rescind this executive order and recall the printed currency. The criminals of our world are the banksters who are preventing this information from reaching the masses. These powerful men died trying to do the right thing. Look up Louis T. McFadden. Every American should know what this hero did and how it cost him his life. There has been plenty written, my friend. You just need to dig a little deeper.
