One Word To Describe Success
Let’s get one thing straight. If your success is dependent on reaching an end result or a desired goal or a sum of cash or a fancy car, you will never be successful. Point-blank fucking period.
Why do I put it so harshly? Because if you’re aiming for those things, you’re almost certain to fail. Everyone’s talking about millions these days, without actually realising how rare it is to make even half of that on a yearly basis.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t strive for those things. If they’re what you’re into, good for you. Go ahead and get yours! What I’m saying isn’t that. What I’m saying is: if you base your success entirely on whether or not you get there, you’ll never be successful.
Little Work; Big Dreams
People are displaying so much audacity.
I don’t think they realise how rare it is to achieve the things they’re striving for. Do you know how many people out there say they want a lambo, but are afraid of giving up their Fridays and Saturdays in case they miss out on some hot gossip at the club.
How many of those assholes at the club arrived in a lambo? None of them. Go figure…
I’m not saying you shouldn’t dream big and have crazy aspirations. In fact, I’m a huge believer in dreaming so big that it scares the shit out of you… But what I am saying is simple: to actually get there is rare as fuck.
Happiness
That’s the one word you should base your success on. Because honestly, happiness is rare too. Sure, everyone seems happy, but it’s easy to smile for three seconds while you get a picture taken so you can throw it up on Instagram with ‘Living my best life *one hundred emoji*’ as the caption…
Happiness is what you should be striving for. True happiness — not the pseudo bullshit.
Find the things in life that put a genuine smile on your face and do them every fucking day until you die. If you can do that — if you can move through life wearing a genuine smile while not caring what other people think — then you have achieved the ultimate success.
Because sure, owning a yacht would be pretty fucking sweet, but it could never come close to that fire you feel in your chest when you’re doing the things you love. That’s what true success is all about. Never stop chasing that.
