Observations on motherhood

It was quicker to find the balance between selfishness and servitude the second time around.

Where has the time gone?

Today I’m now carrying a two month old baby girl, and also making sure my almost two year old son is eating his snacks instead of playing with them. My husband is rearranging furniture downstairs, in the new home we moved into last month.

I had a step-cat named Roscoe.

We had to put him down unexpectedly last night.

He was just a cat.

I miss him more than I thought I would.

I have been a mother to Phoenix for 8 months and 8 days.
