Persuasion and Influence should be very old topics. They are as old as history of man. Some 2500 years ago, a Chinese Master, Gui Gu Zi, founded the School of Diplomacy, to teach us not just about persuasion but a combination of strategy and persuasion. I call it “Strategic Persuasion”. It is recognised as a complement to the more famous Sun Zi’s Art of War. It completes what Sun Zi’s left off, the proposed winning strategies have to be approved by the King and supported by the soldiers executing them.
