Betrayal is a Funny Beast
It teaches you many lessons. I have been betrayed by many people on many levels. The first thing that comes to mind is that I typically learn I am much stronger and more resilient than I realized. It is not easy to say thank you at the moment when I am struggling. I have to sit with the pain and accept the lesson before I am ready to move on. There is a lot to be grateful for in the end. What we do with the lesson and how we forge forward is in our hands.
