I’ve never been to St. Maarten before but from what I can tell you, I could hardly tell this island was hit with devastation from Hurricane Irma. The way this place thrives, you’d think they took a page from Big Sean:
Last night I took an L,
But tonight I bounce back.
Now don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty needing to get spruced up but there’s more than plenty to enjoy…just know that these islands are running strong.
There are two sides:
Sint Maarten — Dutch
The Dutch side didn’t get hit as hard and seemed pretty normal to me. Front Street was on and poppin’. It’s a good place to stay considering that the beach and everything you need is right there.
