Check out the trivago offices before you ‘Check-in’ Pt. 1
Take a virtual tour of some of our office spaces with these 360 pics!
At trivago we work hard every day to help people find their ideal hotel for the best price, but we also work hard to connect the right person with their ideal job.
So far we have guided over 1300 employees from over 50 different countries to their dream tech-job. From Designers to DevOps, Software Engineers to Social Media, there is a good chance we have the perfect role for you.
What’s so special about life at trivago you ask? Well, not to mention being based in the German city of Düsseldorf with the 6th highest quality of living in the world, we also have some pretty cool workspaces.
But don’t take our word for it, check them out for yourself…
Ah, what better place to start than the kitchen. Well actually, it’s one of many kitchens (18 to be exact), but this is the one where all the action happens. Inspirational academies, weekly Q&As with the Managing Directors, pool competitions, yoga classes, parties, you name it, it happens in this space.
Düsseldorf is known for being pretty easy to get around, so easy in fact that many of us can walk to the office in the morning. But if for some crazy reason you’re missing that long morning commute, book a meeting in this think tank. It’s bound to make you feel right like you are right back on the ‘253’… minus the strange odour.
trivago is located in a pretty ‘football crazy’ area of the world, with many famous European clubs only a short train ride away. So, it would only be fair to have a room named Stadion, which is the German word for stadium (our free German classes will help you with that one). In Stadion expect a PlayStation with FIFA, Table Soccer and some pretty stiff competition.
Be warned, the German winter can get quite cold. But in this think tank you will have no problem feeling as though you are working on a Spanish island… Something that all trivago employees can actually do for 1 month a year at our Palma office.
This is probably the first room you will see if your trivago application is successful. In Harvard we host our on-boarding week or ‘Check-In’ as we call it. During this week we welcome all the newcomers with introductory sessions, challenging case studies and all the info you need to set-up in Germany.
Reindeer antlers? Check. TV and webcam for skype meetings? Check. Painting of a posh dog? Check. Chess board? Check…mate.
So, could you see yourself working at trivago? Why don’t you come and check out our other 100+ individually designed rooms in-person?
Oh, did we forget to mention we also have a brand new campus set to open in 2018?
