The best bad-breath “reliever”.

By now you must have realised that most sweets have mint flavour as to freshen bad breaths.

From Medical News Today:

Managing gastrointestinal problems

Mint is a calming herb used for thousands of years to help soothe an upset stomach or indigestion.

Anti-allergenic effects

Mint have anti-allergenic effects, according to a 2019 review published in Frontiers in Pharmacology.

Soothing common cold symptoms

Mint contains menthol which is said to help break up phlegm and mucus, making it easier to expel. Applying menthol ointments or vapor rubs may be a safe and effective treatment for children who have a common cold.

Don’t eat the sweets

While mint is commonly used in sweets, ointments and vapors, I would strongly suggest not to ingest mint sweets as they contain white sugar or artificial sugars. Artificial sugars can create a bigger problem to solve.

I tried before and I realised that certain types of artificial sugars can permanently (if I do not find ways to detox it out) stay in my body and or even numb my nervous system. I got immediate headaches after eating it.

Drink more water!

Thus I would suggest those who has bad breath to drink more water! That is the most natural way of healing bad breaths.

Enjoy the raw taste and pure benefits

Otherwise, grow some mint plants. They are said to be relatively easily to grow and take care of. Before you go to sleep each night, pluck a few leaves (well ask permission from the plant of course), wash it, dry it, put it in a container and fridge it over night. The next day, bring it out to work/ school.

As and when you need, chew it and “smear the juice with your tongue”. Then rinse your mouth with water. You can swallow to enjoy the other benefits of digested mint leaves or split it out.

I am sure you will feel so refreshed, especially if you chew just after you fridge it! =)

Create your own healthy drink

Another way will be to create your own drink using lemons, cucumbers and mint leaves. However use a glass bottle as the acid from lemon may dissolve plastic compounds.
