More Gigafactories to open in U.S., Musk Announces

While speaking at the National Governors Association, where politicians are on the lookout for business opportunities for their cities, districts, or states, Elon Musk announced that he wants to open at least two or three more Gigafactories in the United States.
It is well known that Musk’s goal is to open Gigafactories, the factories that produce the lithium batteries, Powerwalls, and Powerpacks that fuel Tesla cars and homes, around the world but this is the first time we’ve been reassured that several of the solar-powered factories will be opened stateside.
