Because everything is possible, right, in this great society?

Trust me, I know there are plenty of dice stacked against plenty of people. You know who dice aren’t stacked against? Good engineers. If you can build something, you can make something worth something. You can start your own company and raise money and have a culture that you believe in and a product you believe in. Engineering is the single most valuable skill in modern society because it buys you that freedom. Sure there are still privledges and such as play (easier for a rich person with money from mom and dad to go off and start their own company while working for nothing), but there are plenty of companies that have been started while engineers were working FT jobs and had a side project that turned into something great.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
