Sounds like you are getting well on your way with UX Alex. Totally understand the quitting your job issues, it’s not easy. There are lots of good UX courses online so that is something you may be able to squeeze into you work/family schedule, bit at a time.

I think you have a key ingredient to be a good designer and that is wanting things to work right for the customer. Framer is a great one and is something I’ve wanted to learn for a while, but I generally find that sketch and principle work well and tweaks with the developers when the time comes.
