Cleaning is such a useful way to attack anxiety and stress.

Having a clean space feels good, lower levels of visual noise, things are where you expect them to be, etc.

But the act of cleaning is powerful. You are proving that you are capable of positively effecting the world around you. That makes me feel less trapped in my head and chest. By making the bed or doing laundry or doing the dishes You are telling yourself that You are in control.
