Dr. Nakeema Stefflbauer has spent the better part of the last two decades helping tech become more accessible to women across the world. In today’s increasingly digital age, her goal is to expand the diversity of qualified women entering jobs in the tech industry and channel their untapped potential to benefit the tech community.
Nakeema is the founder and CEO of FrauenLoop, a Berlin-based non-profit organisation that offers classes in web development, data science, machine learning and network security to marginalised immigrant and refugee women. She shared with us her insights on the art of persuasion, as well as the importance of learning a new language not for the sake of it, but as a key problem-solving tool.
