Bahubali 2: The Conclusion Review:

Finally, the question Why did Kattappa kill Bahubali has been answered with S.S Rajamouli’s colossal and ambitious project Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. This movie is more prequel than a sequel as the first half reveals the untold love story of Devsena the warrior princes and Bahubali. The twist in this love story is that Sivgami doesn’t have a liking for Devsena and Bahubali has to step down as king of Mahesmati to marry her. Now Bhalla Dev is the new king but the mystery ‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali’ is still not answered.

Despite some twists and turns the first half of the film looks a bit slow and definitely romance is not Rajamouli’s strength. The best thing that one can notice till now is the remarkable story narration and hard work of makers behind characterization.

Post interval we are back into the present day where Devsena meets her son.. and then they together prepare to avenge Bhalla Dev for his deeds. This part is much griping with its mix of action and emotion and it shows how the clash of ideologies can lead to devastating ends.

Bahubali 2

Prabhas is unstoppable and exceptional just like the first part but it is Anushka Shetty who is the biggest revelation in the film and left us awestruck by giving one of the best performances of her career as a rebellious, warrior princess Devasena. Rana Daggubati also pulls off his evil act superbly.

Talking about technicalities be it VFX, production design or be it costumes every bit of this film has justified why it is said the India’s biggest motion picture of all time.

Final words for the film is it is hard to come out of the hangover of Bahubali 2, watch it and experience it yourself.
