It’s so hard to say GOODBYE (Day 7 Recap — Hong Kong March 2016)

Say it ain’t so, but unfortunately all good things come to an end. Day 7 was a very short and abrupt day as my morning flight took off in the wee hours of the morning, but I still had an opportunity to enjoy my last couple hours in Hong Kong’s beautiful airport.
To my delight, the airport had some awesome food offerings, including a cafe which offered a great DimSum combo meal that featured congee and BBQ pork buns (both steamed and baked!). I also finally had a chance to try some Hong Kong Soy milk, since that was something that I actually missed out on throughout my trip. =)

Following breakfast, I had an opportunity to browse the Disney Store, which surprisingly is HUGE in the Hong Kong airport! For Vickie’s sake, they actually even have more “Lotso” (the villainous bear from Toy Story who smells like strawberries) toys than the US stores do, and Vickie had a blast shopping in there. I think she bought over $100 worth of Disney merchandise that morning haha
The couple hours in the airport passed by fairly quickly, and before you knew it, it was time to board. Although I was sad that the trip was coming to an end, I was extremely grateful for all the sights and sounds I had the privilege to experience during my few days in Hong Kong. In hindsight, I must say that I was blessed to have the opportunity to explore and visit so many places during my short time there, and I left Hong Kong feeling like my trip was absolutely a Mission Accomplished! Farewell until next time!! =)
