So, you’ve decided to buy $lilAI after thorough research and due diligence. You realize that $lilAI is available on Coinmetro, a centralized exchange, and on Uniswap, using the Arbitrum network. While both platforms are excellent, this guide focuses on setting up and trading on Arbitrum with MetaMask.

Getting Started

  1. Setting Up MetaMask
  • First, ensure you have a decentralized crypto wallet. We recommend MetaMask. If you’re new to it, check out MetaMask’s official guide to get started.
  • MetaMask defaults to the Ethereum network. To add Arbitrum One, go to the network selection at the top of MetaMask and choose ‘Add Network’.
  • In the new screen, select ‘Arbitrum One’ from the list of networks and confirm the settings. You can double-check these settings against the official MetaMask support page for Arbitrum.

Funding Your Wallet

To transact on Arbitrum, you need Ethereum (ETH) as a gas token. You can fund your wallet in two ways:

-Sending from a Centralized Exchange (CEX)
-Bridging

  1. Sending from a CEX:
    - Copy your Metamask wallet addreess from the top of the metamask wallet page.
    - In your CEX, select the correct withdrawal address and chain (Arbitrum) when withdrawing ETH.
    - Once complete and sent, it should appear in your Metamask wallet automatically shortly.
  2. Bridging:
    — In your MetaMask, select the ‘Bridge’ option (available only on Desktop).
    — Metamask supplys a User Interface for Bridging, which connects to approved third party services for asset transfer.
    — Specify the source network, target network (Arbitrum), the asset (ETH), and the amount.
    — Approve the transaction, after the estimated period of time, your asset should apppear in your wallet on the Arbitrum Network.

Buying $lilAI

  1. Access Uniswap
  2. Visit $lilAI’s Coingecko page, locate the Contract Address from the left hand side and copy it using the icon
  3. To Execute the swap we must follow a few steps
    - Head back on to Uniswap, select the asset you want to exchange for $lilAI in the top field
    - In the bottom field, choose ‘Select Token’ and paste the $lilAI contract address from CoinGecko.
    - Enter the amount you wish to swap. Approve the token sale if prompted.
    - Confirm the swap in Uniswap and then MetaMask, and wait for the transaction success notification.
  4. Add the $lilAI token to your MetaMask wallet by selecting ‘Import Token’, paste the $lilAI address, the other details should auto populate and then confirm.
