Dayton Ohio rapper 937-Té is making a name for him self.
The Dayton rapper quickly grew a large following on the social media app Instagram “@therealronte” for posting snippets of his music.
He has caught the attention of Casablanca records, Rostrum Records, a&e network, The Taylor girls signed by RCA records and many more.
937-Té was born July 20th, 1996 in Dayton OH as Ronte Preston. He grew up living with his mom and dad tell they separated and he moved in with his mom and 5 other siblings.
Growing up he would listen to artists such as Lil Wayne, Roscoe Dash, Eminem, T.I., Chris Brown, Trey Songz And many others. He started rapping when he was just 10 years old but but didn’t start recording till he reached high school because he didn’t have the materials to record with but that didn’t stop him from writing.
Kid K recorded his first couple songs over a friends house during the summer of his freshman year and uploaded it to site soundcloud.com which is known for all the new upcoming rap artist such as Lil Pump Ski mask the slump God and XXXTentacion. When he first uploaded his music he didn’t get very many views but that didn’t stop him during high school he would make diss tracks about a group of kids that said his music was trash he had anyone to encourage him about his music so he began to fall back from it.
After that HE didn’t make any music till the end of his senior year of high school and didn’t start taking it seriously until after he graduated he began making multiple songs but still wasn’t getting The Views that he wanted So he began to promote his music on Twitter and Instagram.
It wasn’t tell late 2016 he would receive the engagement he wanted he started receiving shout outs and repost on Facebook he changed his name from kid courageous to KId K because the name was taken by a rock band After he moved out of his mothsers house he released his first single “sorry for that” that hit all platforms and gave him lots of attention on social media and even got a shout-out from his famous comedian friend
@actionjaxoncomedy. During the summer of 2018 He wiped his soundcloud clean from all of his old low quality music and released 2 hits that has over 20,000 streams on SoundCloud.
His single “Decisions” that gave him his large following when he released a snippet of it to his Instagram account gained over 20,000 views and and Caught the eyes of Casablanca records, Rostrum Records, a&e network,The Taylor girls signed by RCA records and many more.
