Was not diagnosed with anything in particular by the psychiatrist, Dr Reminder Kaur from Level 2 SJMC today.

Was given medication based on the symptoms iterated by my sister and me during the session.

Will be starting two types of medications, both to be taken at night:

  1. Risperidone — 0.5 mg/day for 10 days
  2. Fluvoxamine — 25mg/day for 2 days, 50mg for consecutive 10 days

Follow up appointment will be in a week’s time, 1st of August 2017.

Mood of the day: Apathetic

Dietary record for the day:

  1. [TIME: 12.30PM] STARBUCKS Matcha Earl Grey Tea, seasonal drinks, Venti size (640ml) with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top. Drink consists mostly of sugar and dairy products, new substances introduced include earl grey jelly and earl grey syrup. calorie content is at least 520kcal, not including the unknown amount of calories contained in the earl grey syrup and earl grey jelly and caramel drizzle which seemed to be topped in copious amounts.
  2. [TIME: 3:00PM] 2x packets of HAR MEE + 2 eggs. Calorie dense but not nutrient dense. Aware but not concerned. Felt hunger
  3. [TIME: 9:30PM] 1 SCOOP pasta, 3 scoops soup, small piece of chicken breast (palm size, 3 fingers thick) one 3 cm piece of carrot, 1 serving of Massimo bread, 2 slices of cheese, 1 tbsp butter
  4. Medication consumed immediately after 9:30PM meal.

Despite lack of diagnosis, follow up research on drugs prescribed suggest Bipolar Disorder (BPD) or Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

Mood at night(after 7PM) was different than mood throughout the whole day, pre medication, despite not having any physical activity for the day. Mood was better overall; general apathy seems to have dissipated. Not sure why. Some feelings of intentional disregard to human stimuli seems to remain. Will only respond when necessary. Lots of actions seem to be reactive rather than proactive. Response seems to also be delayed (time to process danger and appropriate response followthrough affected) in the day. Might prove to be troublesome.
