Setting Up a Unichain Node

Unichain is a Layer 2 solution for Ethereum, developed by the Uniswap team to enhance the scalability and performance of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. By running your own Unichain node, you can contribute to network decentralization and gain a deeper understanding of its infrastructure.

System Requirements

To ensure optimal node performance, make sure your server meets the following minimum specifications:

CPU: 4-core processor or higher
RAM: 8 GB or more
Storage: 100 GB free space (SSD recommended)
Network: Stable internet connection

Step 1: Create an Account and Log In

Go to lazynode.xyz and log into your account. If you don’t have an account, sign up — it only takes a few minutes.

Step 2: Prepare for Node Setup

Select a subscription that allows for the deployment of multiple nodes.
In the My Servers section, add an existing server or select a server available on the platform.

Step 3: Deploy the Node

Go to the Nodes section in the LazyNode dashboard.
Select Unichain from the list of available nodes. In the next step, choose the server on which to deploy the node and click Deploy Node.
After deploying the node, monitor its progress in the Dashboard until it completes automatically.

Step 4: Copy Your Private Key

Click on the node’s status next to the server name to view additional details or any error messages.
Copy your private key.

Step 5: Import Your Key into MetaMask

Open the MetaMask wallet extension.
Click on the account icon at the top center.
Select Add Account, then choose Import Account.
Paste your private key into the designated field and click Import.

Congratulations!

Your Unichain node is now up and running. You can start contributing to the network and enjoy the benefits of supporting decentralized finance on a scalable infrastructure.

Keep your private key secure and do not share it with others.
Monitor your node’s status regularly in the Dashboard to ensure smooth operation.
