As relatively minor the pumpkin incident is in relation to the horrifying acts (crimes) committed by the likes of Brock Turner, I would be very unhappy with my 2 boys (6 and 9) if they pulled this kind of stunt. And they know it. This “boys will be boys” nonsense has got to stop.

I’ve already had to have a chat with my oldest son about not stereotyping girls. He said to me once, “Why are YOU playing video games?” as if girls weren’t into that kind of thing. It was a learning moment, for sure.
