For the first time, LimX Dynamics has showcased a test of its humanoid robot, codenamed CL-1. Through closing the loop between real-time perception, gait planning and locomotion control, and hardware and data stream, CL-1 dynamically completed tasks such as climbing stairs, walking down slopes and locomote indoors and outdoors in different environments.

During the test, based on Perceptive Control, LimX Dynamics’ humanoid robot CL-1 adjusted its motion proactively and took smooth steps onto the curb. Then it ascended stairs dynamically and fluidly. Upon reaching the top, CL-1 deftly walked down on a 15-degree slope. Expanding the tests from indoors to outdoors, CL-1 was also tested from afternoon to dusk under different environment conditions with stable and outstanding dynamics.

CL-1 is one of the few humanoid robots around the world that achieves dynamic stair climbing based on real-time terrain perception, mainly thanks to LimX Dynamics’ advanced motion control and AI algorithms, along with proprietary high-performing actuators and hardware system. As the evolution of technological advancements, LimX Dynamics’ humanoid robots will be progressively deployed in both B2B and B2C applications, focusing on hazardous scenarios, high-end services, automobile manufacturing, and in-home services.
