It would be good to cite some sources for this…I’ve read that there’s an expectation that young adults will not live as long as their parents but not actual figures as you are stating here. So, be careful what you say. Cite the statistics coming out of the CDC or elsewhere.

I do know that the obesity epidemic in our nation (two-thirds of adults are overweight and about one-third are obese — YIKES), is contributing to the expectation of a shortened lifespan. The expectation is based on medical research showing the casual relationship between obesity and many medical problems such as adult-onset diabetes and heart disease.

Yes, I should be citing sources here…but I’m being lazy this morning as I have an appointment to rush off to!! Sorry for appearing like a hypocrite.
