Perhaps, just perhaps IF we as a society stop embracing the narrative that fame and fortune define “success,” define who we are as individuals, then we are less likely to fall for the next scam, yet to be cooked up by some clever, criminal type.

IF we stop seeing people in a hierarchical manner AND occupations as “important” or “common” OR “unimportant,” that is, in elitist terms, then we might be able to respect all people and all occupations as contributing to the common good.
