I had great plans .

I downloaded three different writing prompt plans . I joined several Facebook Groups featuring Advent readings.

I’m following several Advent plans on You Version.

The only thing I’ve really accomplished is catching up on reruns of ‘The Crown’.

That has led me to wanting to rethink my British ancestry.

In countries like the Ukraine , Christmas is January 6. That means that Advent begins again tomorrow, December 13. …

I choose life, joy and guilty pleasure

Yesterday was Election Day in the USA.

Constant noise flooded every channel on television.

Debates , wondering , questioning and posturing dominated the airwaves.

The phrase that repeated in my head was : ‘ Not my monkey – Not my zoo’.

Every time I turned on the TV anxiety filled my body .

Even writing this on the day after I feel the tension and tears rise in my eyes.

At this point I have a choice.

I can give in to the fear or I can turn off the noise.

I can turn off the TV . …
